Who is Jake Preedin? He is a photographer from the Chicago area but has traveled as far as Scotland and Spain to shoot weddings and portraiture. In a word you might be able to describe him as a Wedding Photographer (but I guess that is more than one word, oh well ;). Jake is not just a wedding photographer though, he is also a concert, model and portrait photographer with more than 5 years experience behind the lens. His passion comes from his love of looking at photos and can be traced back to a very young age (All I can remember is I was under 5). His mother could (and did) sit him down with books full of photos where he would just quietly pore over each image for hours. His love of looking at images is what helped him make the transition to learning how to create photos he loved to look at. As it turns out others love to look at his photos too and before you know it they were asking him to shoot weddings and events for them, and PAYING him for it! :D

It all started with Sarah Barlow(fellow wedding photographer and just all around awesome person). Jake met Sarah at his cousins birthday party where he was just taking some pictures for fun. Sarah asked him if she could look at some of the pictures he had taken.
Not knowing who she was, Jake said sure. After looking through a few images Sarah told him she was a wedding photographer and asked if he would like to shoot a wedding with her. To this Jake said Ill pray about it (which to most people means no, but in Jakes case he really did pray). When he felt that shooting this wedding with Sarah was something that God wanted him to do he jumped at the chance! Jake has since shot numerous weddings with Sarah as well as having the privilege of working with other awesome photographers, Josh Newton, Kevin Von Qualen and Mark Collins to name a few.

Jake does not believe he has arrived, but has a continual passion for creating amazing photos that will delight his clients.
